Eat my Cake!!
That’s essentially the basis for this.
It is my place to share the cakes and goodies I make, recipes I find
and anything else I feel like sharing.
I’m currently making Easter eggs and hot cross buns. The buns will hopefully turn out better than last year.. they were a little like rocks! I’ll let you know how they go.
In the mean time I shall share some of the cakes I have made recently…
There’s the Mad Hatter cake, an experiment mostly but it didn’t turn out too badly, it just needed a little work on keeping the icing smooth.
Next my Christmas cake from 2005, made at college, I’m very pleased with my first attempt at sugar flowers.
A Chocolate gateux, chocolate genoese covered with ganache.
My Christmas cake from 2006, made on my own so pleased with it.
The toothrot cake! Flourless, very very sugary and gooey.
My easter egg, filled with chocolate naked women!
