Wedding cake
Top tier fruit, the other two are a white chocolate sponge. Torted with layers of cherry preserve and covered in fondant. Can’t wait to see it assembled!

Sadly his wings didn’t dry out enough in time for me to paint them and attach them so he had to go wingless, but he seemed to go down well regardless. Annoyingly the glaze made his eyes ‘run’ a little. I am proud to say he raised £90 (photo courtesy of Hazel)

Chaud-frois that I made at college. It’s an old fashioned way of presenting things (mainly meat and fish) for buffets. The item is cooked, then covered in a bechamel that has gelatin added. The decorations are added, made from aubergine, peppers and cucumber skins. They’re then covered in aspic jelly!
