Sadly it got damaged during transportation and cracked as it was being assembled.. did as much of a patch up job that I could, though I wasn’t particularly happy with it.

Never mind, you live and learn.. and I’ve certainly learned a lot from this cake

That’s 400 flowers I had to cut out, and 600 silver dragees (edible ball bearings *grins*)

Top tier fruit, the other two are a white chocolate sponge.

Torted with layers of cherry preserve and covered in fondant.

Can’t wait to see it assembled!

Sadly his wings didn’t dry out enough in time for me to paint them and attach them so he had to go wingless, but he seemed to go down well regardless.

Annoyingly the glaze made his eyes ‘run’ a little.

I am proud to say he raised £90
